Through the principles of the social teachings of the catholic church, CWM Kenya empowers and encourages her members in the dioceses and base groups to share with the less fortunate in the communities. The principle of common good and preferential treatment for the poor are guiding principles among others.
Members in a base group utilize their mfuko wa jamii during their HISA Activity to help and share with poor and other vulnerable in the societies.
This is undertaken through visiting the sick, holding prison masses, paying medical expenses for the aged, paying schools fees for the orphans among other charity actions activities.
